Unified configuration profiles save hours on each device. Once Configure allows you to copy a configuration from a master and replicate it to all terminals of the same model — without manual clicks in system menus.

Key features

1) Import configuration

  • From file: picks up Setinfo.tar.gz or DefSetinfo.tar.gz from external SD card (priority is DefSetinfo.tar.gz ) . Some settings are activated after reboot .

  • By QR code: imports the configuration by scanning the code from the reference device/screen.

  • From XML: reads Config.xml or DefConfig.xml from the SD card for address-based parameter updates.

2) Export configuration

  • To file: creates the Setinfo.tar.gz package (first to the external SD, if there is none – to the internal storage).

  • QR export: generates a QR code with the config — other devices import it with a scanner .

3) Boot Import

  • Rename the exported file to DefSetinfo.tar.gz , put it on the SD card .

  • After a factory reset, the device automatically imports the package on first start.

  • Ideal for mass deployment of new batches.

How it works (typical scenarios)

A. Cloning from a reference via QR

  1. On the reference device: Export → QR .

  2. On a new device: Import → QR , scan the code → restart if necessary.

B. Autostart package

  1. On the benchmark: Export → Setinfo.tar.gz .

  2. Rename to DefSetinfo.tar.gz , copy to SD.

  3. Insert SD into new device → factory reset → first boot will perform import.

C. Point changes via XML

  1. Prepare Config.xml/DefConfig.xml .

  2. Import file from SD → apply settings without full package.

Business value

  • Faster launch of changes: one profile — hundreds of identical settings.

  • Less human error: configs are repeatable and controllable.

  • Low deployment TCO: minimal manual intervention, especially in branches/3PLs.

  • Easy maintenance: It’s easy to update policies and distribute them across the fleet.

FAQ

Is an SD card required for import?
No. You can import via QR or XML . SD is required for Boot Import and convenient file sharing.

How is Setinfo.tar.gz different from DefSetinfo.tar.gz?
Setinfo.tar.gz — regular export. DefSetinfo.tar.gzdefault package for auto-import at first start (Boot Import).

Nothing changed after the import.
Some options are activated after a reboot . Also check the device model and file integrity.

Can I mix QR import and XML?
Yes. QR is convenient for quick replication, XML is for spot edits without a full package.

Do I need administrator rights?
Yes, some actions require admin permissions on the device.
